Five, including underage boy, charged with gang raping 14-year-old girl

Five youths, including a juvenile, pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to a charge of gang raping an underage girl.
The five, including a 16-year-old who works as a drinks seller, were contract workers Muhammad Nuzul Ikhram Nurallail, 19 and paint factory worker Mohamad Ridzuan Mohd Asri, 19.
The others were workshop worker Muhammad Azlan Md Lazan, 19, while Muhammad Saiful Fauzi, 18, was unemployed.
The five youths were charged with raping the 14-year-old girl at a public toilet of a recreation park in Taman Setia Tropika, Kempas, here between 12.30am and 2am on Sept 30.
They were charged under Section 375B of the Penal Code for gang rape, which carries an imprisonment of up to 30 years, if found guilty.
Meanwhile, it is learned that another suspect is still at large.
Mohamad Haldar did not allow bail for the accused, and fixed Dec 30 for mention.
Deputy public prosecutor Norashikin Ibrahim prosecuted, while the accused were unrepresented.
